The countdown has officially begun for Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phones, the Xiaomi 14 series. While the models are expected to be unveiled on October 27th, recent leaks have left no doubt about the kind of user experience they will offer. A new report reveals the design of the high-end Pro model, shared by 91mobiles and OnLeaks.
The design of Xiaomi 14 Pro has been revealed
According to the report, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will feature a quad-camera setup at the back. On the front, it will continue the punch-hole display design seen in previous models. It’s worth noting that the display is flat.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to be 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7 mm. Considering that its predecessor had dimensions of 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7 mm, it seems the new model will be slightly smaller and thicker.
Based on previous leaks, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Micro Quad Curved C8 panel supporting dynamic 1-120 Hz LTPO refresh rates and offering a 2K resolution. The device will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing up to 3000 nits peak brightness and features like HDR 10+.
The smartphone will have a 50-megapixel 1/1.28” main camera sensor with an aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. It’s worth noting that the variable aperture feature, expected to be present in the device, is currently found only in the company’s 13 Ultra model.
The primary camera on the phone is expected to be a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with OIS support. Additionally, the device will feature two 50-megapixel ultra-wide and telemacro sensors.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,860 mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities.
